Our client required a solution for their customer that would power an interactive website offering an online course on defensive driving to dismiss traffic tickets or reduce insurance rates in the USA. The solution had to be customizable and scalable to many different domains - providing a uniform set of functionalities across all of these. Also, it was desirable that the different domains be configurable using a single Admin console. Icreon Communications analyzed the requirements of our client and delivered the solution. The solution provided the end-client with a single framework that they could use to power websites catering to students taking the course in different Federal states.

Also, since different states could have different legal procedures, the solution had to be scalable to multiple domains. - The solution had to be replicable to multiple domains—keeping the core set of functionalities same
- There had to be a provision for a single, unified Admin console to simplify the configuration of the domains
- A facility was required to customize the User Interface for different domains
A Convenient Solution to Power a Commercial E-Learning Website
The solution was aimed at providing a customized browsing experience for the students, while simplifying the administrative and maintenance chores considerably. It was desirable that the User Interface in different states be customizable according to the students’ needs. A single Administrative console was needed to make easy the configuration of domains for different states.
The following unique technology features of the solution give it an edge over its peers:
- The application is based on the n-tier architecture
- A page-controller based on the MVC architecture has been implemented in the Admin section
- An implementation of the Ajax technology in the solution allows server side processing without requiring the server to post/refresh the whole site
- The solution supports XML-based content-generation on the fly—examples include course material, quizzes, etc.
- The solution supports templates seamlessly—the Web application has been developed using user controls that are customizable allowing for tweaks and enhancements to the User Interface

Through a single framework, our client wanted a customizable solution for their customers so that they could cater to students in different states of the USA. The set of services available to the students in these states had to be similar. The solution was also expected to be future-proof and easy to maintain.
