Beach Merchant required for its end client, a robust platform on which a CRS (Central Reservation System) could be integrated, using which authentic property owners could keep a check on their property reservation status. Some basic requirements were:

	Integration of localized reservation systems

	All relevant property related information (results) to be stored within the CRS

WEBSITE MODULES
The website contained within it, two feature rich modules to enhance its functionality. These modules are:

Reservation Module

	Streamlined booking process wherein the property is booked by the viewer, online, through the local CRS

	A secure payment gateway has been integrated in the system and a payment application form is generated as soon as a property is booked.

	The solution has an Availability Form which is auto-generated and retrieves database driven results for available properties for a particular date.

	The Reservation Server pages these results while sorting functions are preformed through the style sheet.

Owner Module

	Returns Query applications with the list of properties available or with a code in case no property is available on that particular date.

	The property owner is notified with an update to his/her online calendar which is updated whenever a property is booked.

	Customers - People who come to the Store and buy content.

	XML responses from the reservations server are processed and transformed with XSLT Style Sheets.

	Application makes use of JavaScript and DHTML to display information to end-users

Icreon has built Meyer.com with a functionality that enables property seekers to access property photos via the directory location with XMLHTTP and display these in a pop-up window. The search information provided by the viewer is transferred to the reservation box at the top of each page. This allows viewers to easily alter search fields without having to go through the entire process of reentering information.
